Artipelag är ett världsunik mötesplats för konstverk, arkitektur, design, evenemang samt förstklassig föda – vackert belägen invid Baggensfjärden vid Värmdö, endast 30 minuter från huvudstaden city. 

Namnet Artipelag är ett sammanslagning från Art (konst), Activities (aktiviteter) och Archipelago (skärgård). detta säger enstaka del angående vad oss kan tillhandahålla, men långtifrån allt. Vår avsikt besitter varit för att skapa en utflyktsmål vid hög internationell nivå – med gränsöverskridande konstutställningar, inspirerande aktiviteter samt god mat. 

Här på drygt 10 m2 ryms ett stort konstmuseum samt en affär med egna designprodukter. denna plats reser sig vår Artbox – en väldig event-, inspelnings- och evenemangslokal med tillhörande artistutrymmen. denna plats finns aktivitetsutrymmen för små människor och ungdomar, konferensrum inom olika storlekar och numeriskt värde restauranger – båda med uteservering och storslagen havsutsikt.

Redan tid fick Björn Jakobson, grundare av detta välkända företaget BabyBjörn, idén att producera en fin byggnad till konst- samt kulturupplevelser någonstans i Stockholms skärgård. möjligen såg Björn det såsom ett sätt att efter många framgångsrika år inom svenskt näringsliv manifestera sitt eget stora naturintresse –

    From Stockholm

    Take the motorway towards Gustavsberg and follow the directions to Hålludden/Artipelag.

    From Värmdö/Ingarö
    Take the freeway towards Stockholm, take the exit Värmdö marknad and then take the right on Ingarövägen. Turn left in the roundabout at COOP and thereafter follow directions towards Artipelag. From Gustavsberg, turn right in the roundabout by COOP at Värmdö Marknad and thereafter follow directions.

    Parking
    There are parking spaces distributed across four car parks: Björn, Lillemor, Josefin, and Tony. Disabled parking permit holders can park for free in all car parks but must register at the reception at Artipelag.

    Charging posts
    Five charging stations are available in the Tony car park. Parking is only allowed while charging and for a maximum of three hours. It costs SEK per kWh plus 35 SEK per hour for parking. Payment and charging are only possible via Easypark.

    Prices & Payment
    Parking at any of Artipelag&#;s car parks (Lillemor, Björn, Josefin, and Tony) costs 35 SEK per hour for up to 3 hours, after which it is free.

    Art museum in Stockholm, Sweden

    Artipelag is an art museum located on the archipelago in Stockholm, Sweden. Opened in June , the building was designed by the late architect Johan Nyrén to fit into the surrounding landscape.[1][2][3] The building covers an area of approximately 10, square meters [4] and includes 3, square meters of art galleries and has 22 acres of surrounding natural scenery.[2]

    According to The New York Times, the museum was the "brainchild of Björn Jakobson, who founded the Swedish infant-care products company Babybjörn in , and his wife, Lillemor."[5] The parent company Lillemor Design provided funding (approximately $69 million according to estimates in Swedish media.[5]

    Notable exhibitions have included works by William Wegman[6] and Candida Höfer.[7][8] The artistic director of Artipelag is Bo Nilsson.[9]

    The name of the museum is a pun on "arkipelag," the Swedish word for "archipelago."[5]
